## Which to buy

Buy the **MSR WindPro II** if you cook in wind often and want to keep burning canisters. It is the one canister stove here that MSR sells with a windscreen, a heat reflector and a stand for running the canister upside down in cold weather.

Buy the **MSR WindBurner** if you mostly boil water on exposed ground. Wind protection is built into the burner and pot, so there is nothing to add, and MSR forbids adding anything.

Buy the **MSR Heat Reflector and Windscreen** to replace a lost or bent screen on an MSR liquid-fuel stove or WindPro. MSR's manuals tell you not to use a non-MSR reflector, so this is the one to buy for those stoves.

Buy the **TOAKS** or **Vargo** screen only for a stove whose own manual allows a windscreen. If you cannot find that permission in writing, do not use one.

## Blocking wind without a windscreen
